JASON SCHIERKOLK RACING

Jason has been involved in stock car racing since he was 10 years old. He has been a part of building, repairing, and racing a variety of different stock cars and his favorite are, of course, the Wissota Limited Late Model and the Wissota Late Model.
He has accomplished much in his many years of experience, everything from breaking records to track championships, and in 2006 he had climbed as high as 44th in Wissota National Points.
Along with the many accomplishments, he has had his share of down falls as well, anything from broken axles to runaway tires and wheels, to even being on fire. In 2007 Jason entered into the pilot class known as the Limited Late Model, which uses a GM crate motor as opposed to the Wissota motor or the World of Outlaws open motor. His first race in this new division ended rather horrifically. As he entered turn 3 of the first lap of his first main event at Gillette Thunder Speedway he was pushed off of the turn 3 embankment which sent him into a violent roll, after flipping and rolling 3 1/2 times he finally came to a rest on the roof of the car. He emerged from the upturned car and had a quick check by the paramedics then he returned to his pit area and got in his modified to race it as well. Which he later told anyone who asked that "having another car to race that very same night was the best thing I could have done".It also shows the drive, determination, and the heart of a young man just trying to follow his dreams. We had the car repaired and back out on the track in just 5 days.
After that devastating night and exhausting week Jason began taking the leaders position in races and in points standings. With 15 wins and 9 clean sweeps he finished 2nd overall at Gillette Thunder Speedway and is Casper Speedway's Track Champion and he has now added 4 new titles to his long list of accomplishments: Casper Speedway Driver of the Year, Wyoming State Champion, Western Region Champion, and Wissota National Champion.
Now after that dream shattering night this national win only helped to prove not only to his family, friends, and fans, but to the nation and most importantly to himself that he was definitely capable of something very big.
He is well on his way to making a name for himself and with his plans for the 2008 season he may do just that. He is planning on racing in 4 to 5 World of Outlaws shows that are coming to the western region and he wants to have consistent top 5 finishes in the Wissota National Region with his new 2008 Wissota Late Model and to back up his first ever national title with a second in his Wissota Limited Late Model.
